In my last post, I was talking about Adblock and I listed a link to the NY Times. I’m sure you all know about the NY Times and its annoying required registration to read their news. But some of you may have not heard of BugMeNot.
We’ve all run across these annoying required registration sites from time to time. What BugMeNot does, is keep a database of logins for these types of sites. Even better is the BugMeNot Firefox Plugin.
Once you get to these sites, and a registration/login page pops up, simply right click, say log in with BugMeNot, and it enters the most recent working login from their database.
I’m sure this plugin will eventually become a point of contention just like Adblock, so get it while you can here.

Bug me not sounds like a very useful plugin, i currently use the firefox Temporary inbox extension which generates an email address which is live for about an hour to allow you to confirm any registrations.
If I want to register for a site I will.. if it’s good if not then don’t make me register
