A friend tipped me off to a startup company with an interesting business model. Agloco is a new pay-to-surf company whose name stands for A Global Community.
Don’t panic. It’s free to join. It’s not an MLM. It doesn’t require you to buy anything. You don’t have to talk your friends into buying anything. It really is a pay-to-surf company.
The software is in beta now, but it seems to run fine on my machine. It’s a little “Viewbar” about the size of your status bar that displays relevant ads while you surf. They’re forming a big enough community that, inevitably, some of those ads will get clicked. You get paid a share of the revenue for the whole community. It doesn’t matter if you click the ads or not.
Really a neat idea, and if any of you are like me, you spend a substantial portion of your day on the internet. Might as well make a bit of extra cash.

I’m not a supporter of Aglocco. Even John Chow seem to have been irritated by their irresponsive behavior.
But many seem to have earned a lot from them right? John too..
