A lot of gurus will tell you that content is king when you’re developing a reader base for your blog. Certainly great content is the best way to keep your readers and develop a following. But what about a brand new blog? You could be writing your heart out, with 10 quality posts a day, and get no traffic, because no one’s ever heard of you, and couldn’t find you on the web if they tried.

So what do you do? When your blog is in its infancy, in addition to writing great content, you have to focus on other traffic building methods.

Yaro Starak, of Blog Mastermind fame, wrote a great post on the other 3 methods of traffic building. Namely, buying traffic, ranking in the SERPs, and link building (aka stealing other people’s traffic).

He provides a lot of good insight. His program, Blog Mastermind, is basically a master class in blogging for profit. He’ll hold your hand all the way through setting up your blog, coming up with great content, traffic building, and most importantly, monetizing.

His free eBook is a great start for bloggers looking for a basic plan to start making money with their site.  It’s called Blog Profits Blueprint, and you can get it on his site right here.

If you’re interested in his program, I don’t blame you. This guy is the Robert Kiyosaki of blogging. You can read all about becoming a student in his mentoring program, Blog Mastermind.
